Two-station progressive die with pilots for a 2 mm steel link plate: pierces two Ø3 holes, then blanks the part at a 14 mm pitch, with a fixed stripper. View and rotate the animated 3D model on the page.

  • Two-station strip layout at a 14 mm pitch: pierce two Ø3 holes, re-register the strip on pilots, then blank the 12 × 27 mm part; parts and slugs drop through the openings in the die shoe.
  • Fixed stripper bolted to the die plate: it forms the 31 mm strip channel, guides the punches over the full stroke and strips the strip off the punches as the die opens.
  • Pilots stand 3 mm longer than the cutting punches so they enter the holes before cutting; a Ø3 stop pin sets the pitch for hand feeding.
  • Guided by two Ø18 pillars in bushes; with the recommended 20 mm press stroke the pillars stay at least 29 mm inside the bushes throughout the cycle.
  • Punches and die in SKD11 tool steel hardened to 58–62 HRC; shoes and holders in S50C; standard M8 socket head screws, dowels and an M20 shank.
  • Dies built to your drawing: send the part drawing, material and thickness, volume and press data and ZINITEK will propose the strip layout and die design.
