Single-station blanking die with a movable stripper: 2 mm SPCC strip, 77 mm wide, 56 mm pitch, cutting a 50 × 70 mm blank with R15 corners. Rotate the animated 3D model right on this page.

• The movable stripper hangs on 4 shoulder screws and is pushed down by 4 die springs: it clamps the strip flat before the punch cuts and strips it off the punch as the die opens.
• The 50 × 70 mm blank with R15 corners passes through the die and its tapered relief and drops out below; the strip runs between two guide rails at a 56 mm pitch.
• Cutting clearance of 0.07 mm per side (≈3.5 % of thickness) gives a clean edge on 2 mm SPCC.
• Calculated cutting force ≈ 9.5 t (214 mm cut length); about 11.5 t including stripping force, so a press of 20 t or more is recommended.
• Punch and die in SKD11 tool steel hardened to 58–62 HRC with TiN coating; shoes and plates in S50C; standard pillars, bushes, springs and screws.
