6-station progressive die for a 3 mm steel L-shaped 90° mounting bracket: piercing, blanking, 90° flange bending and part-off, two parts per stroke. 115 mm strip, 55 mm pitch. Rotate the animated 3D model right on this page.

  • Six working stations with no idle station: pierce 8 holes, slot and notch, blank the discs, square notches, bend the flanges, part off. Two parts per stroke.
  • The stripper clamps the strip before the bending and piercing punches touch it. The upper half closes until the stop blocks seat on the stripper, so piercing depth and bend angle stay consistent.
  • Rectangular SKD11 bending punches with 3.15 mm clearance to the forming block (1.05 × strip thickness) and an R2 edge: the flanges are set to a full 90°.
  • Eight standard ISO 10243 die springs, each guided on a shoulder bolt and compressed only 15 mm (about 24 %): long life, safe, easy to replace and low cost.
  • Slugs drop through the die openings and the escape holes in the lower shoe; the two finished parts are pushed out at the end of the die.
  • Order to your drawing: send the part drawing, material and thickness, volume and press data, and ZINITEK will propose the strip layout and die design.
